Hello, I have a nintendo 64 with the ram expander and after a random time, it freezes. I tried cleaning every cartridges and the cartridge slot but it keeps freezing. ( There is still music sometimes but the image is frozen )
Can someone help me ?

Is it an officially licensed Nintendo expansion pak? Way back when there were third party expansion paks that had a knack for heating issues and freezing problems. If it is Nintendo branded, then the RAM may be going bad. Switch it out for the original jumper RAM and see if the problem persists.

Hello , It is not an official Nintendo RAM, I tried the original RAM (the black one)and i played 30 minutes without freezing. So i think the problem is solved.

Hey i had the same problem, luckily i had another expansion pak and swapped it and it works fine. It might be your jumper pak or expansion pak, try switching with another one.

I have the same problem. I replaced the expansion pak by the jumper pak which came with the console. Freezes do not happen as often as with the expansion pak, but still happen every ten minutes. Any idea what I could do?
