monitor with no image, bad logic board!

Hello,

I have a Macbook A1181 13 2.0GHz with a non working monitor,

after power-on i get a half second flash light from the lcd and from the led light web-camera

and i cant see any image at all (no faint images or back light) from the monitor

i already replace the inverter, still the same symptoms

i think it is the logic board

after make some tests with a voltimeter on the cable from logic board that goes on inverter i can see the same symptoms on the voltimeter (the voltage go high for half a second)

i don´t have a video rgb cable to hook the computer to a external monitor

here my targets:

- it is a bad inverter cable?

- it is a bad logic board?

- it is a smd fuse on logic board?

- it is a Missing enable voltage from motherboard's video chip?

My last option is to replace the logic board

but before i want to try to fix my self

tanks every one

Update

Tanks for your answer.

This model don´t have a nvidia gpu

Components already tested:

- Monitor LCD: OK

- Inverter: OK

- Cables: ???

- Mainboard: ???

»»I am now hunting for SMDs dead Fuses...

Note: the macbook start normally i just don´t have image on the monitor.

Details of my Macbook:

-----------------------------------

Model Family: MacBook

Production Year: 2007

Display: 13.3"

Processor Type: 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo

Model Number: A1181

Serial Number: ********Z5V

Part Nº: 825-6896-A

Color: White

Size: 13.3"

Speed: 2.0GHz

Manufacturer: Intel

Type: Core 2 Duo

Architecture: T7200

Codename: Merom

-----------------------------------

Any way, its a shame that i have to replace a complete mainboard

because of a internal malfunction component or because a little SMD fuse that i can't identify,

the real problem here is to isolate a faulty component...

Tanks.

Please look in the battery compartment and tell us which video processor you have. This may be covered under a Nvidia GPU recall issue. Or the last three letters of your serial number.

You want a diagnosis without running the tests that would tell us what the problem is. Get a video cable and test it. http://www.nextag.com/dvi-to-vga-adapter...

You can also start it in Target Mode by connecting to another Mac via a firewire cable and starting up holding down the "T" key. This will tell you if the logic board and hard drive are good.
