I can hear the paper getting ready to print but i get the error signal. I have to take out the cartridge to get the paper out and have to tug pretty hard to get it out. I saw the answer to a jam question bout taking the machine apart and cleaning it but didn't know if my issue might be a little different

most of the time this problem is caused by dirty or faulty rollers.
check following steps :
