Is it possible the tablet is not charging and you are dealing with a dead battery. when you plug it in to the charger does it show any lights or display on the screen . if not you may need a new charge cable or a complete charger. If its charging properly then try holding the power button down till you get some sort of response. if that doesn't work try holding the power button and the volume down button till you get the android logo then navigate down in the menu to boot normally and select that.

I have tried all of the above and nothing happend. This tablet is not three months old started acting slow then just stopped aftet a few weeks from purchasing. It was purchased for my daughter.
I have tried it all will not come on.

Hello,
This just happened to my Nextbook. This worked for me like a charm.
1. You have to take the back cover off first.
2. Look for the power connector (it's white leading from the battery).
3. You have to carefully disconnect the power connector from the tablet for 25 seconds.
4. connect it back like it was . i was able to power it up with not problem .
I would probably charge the battery before attempting , it may not make a difference .
the back cover is pretty easy to take off.

Thank you so very much MCB! My tablet hasn't worked in over a year and I was about to get rid of it when I decided to give one last shot to troubleshooting. Your description helped so much and it turned out that the battery connector had come slightly loose which when plugged in caused the nextbook logo to flash on and off.

I have tried to reboot holding the power button and the +volume simultaneously and I have scrolled down to do a factory reset. I went through this several times and it still comes up to the Nextbook screen and nothing more. I tried to plug it into my home PC and it didn't work either.
