Have you got a different mini HDMI connector cable that you can try? Can you see, with a magnifying glass, that the mini HDMI socket on your tablet appears to be OK and is not damaged or that your cable mini HDMI connector is also not damaged.

Are you sure that you are connecting it into the correct port and that it is the correct type of connector?

There should be, on the side of your tablet, in order from the left, headphone socket, mini HDMI socket, 2 x micro USB sockets, reset button, adapter charge port and micro SD Card slot.
