there was a check up made to the fuel gauge.. the mechanic remove the battery to clean fuel tank... after removing he returned the battery ,,, but the engine did not start eventhough the battery is good ... the battery signal ligth on the dashboard when on

Have you had somebody test the battery with an actual tester? What does it do when you try to start it? Does it click? Does it do nothing?
