This video shows the process of removing the back then the battery ,it then goes on to show screen repair but what your looking for happens in the first 4 minutes of the video.

The battery is glued in and its show here that they use a hot air gun to loosen it but be careful not to put to much heat on a lithium battery as they can catch fire and burn .Hope this helps
