I have been trying to copy a CD onto a cassette by using the record button. When I play it back, the cassette has a very faint recording of the CD, if it records it at all. Whatever suggestions you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Susan Chato, you did not tell us how you recording. Here is what the manual says
Try a different source as well and see if the recording sounds better than from a CD. Try a different CD as well. If it still sounds faint, you may need to clean the tape heads.
