I've just replaced the whole screen assembly on a Samsung SM-T800 10.5 tablet including LCD and when I test it I get partial screen darkness and/or faded color. Could this be do to a bad LCD ribbon cable or did I receive a bad LCD screen??

David Tumosa, could be your connection. Always double check your work. Make sure all wiring is seated properly, that the pins are okay, nothing bend or broken. If that all checks out okay, it is possible that you have gotten a bad LCD. Contact the vendor for a replacement

Thanks you old turkey! Haha like it. Yeah I'm going to try another ribbon cable before I scream! This Samsung has been an albatross around my neck since a the guy dropped it off. Heck of a time to find the screen assembly! Was really not affordable either!
