When I play music through my MINI JAMBOX the sound is really weak and has a lot of static in the background. The device still plays music from both the bluetooth connection and the auxiliary port, the music it is playing just sounds distorted. It is unusable now and I would rather not have to buy a new device. Any advice on what could be causing this or how to fix it?

There are a number of problems that could cause your speakers to be blown out. You should definitely take a look at our troubleshooting page here. I'd try updating the JAMBOX's software before trying to open it up and replace anything. You can find Jawbone's software update guide here. If that doesn't work, you might have to open your device and replace the speakers. Here is the speaker replacement guide.
