Why is my food still chunky after blending?
I have noticed that the food is not getting blended and staying chunky or that the blades get jammed.

It is possible that you have food stuck in your blades. Make sure you turn off your blender and unplug it. Then use a spoon or a spatula to carefully remove to the food and continue to blend. However, if this does not work, check to make sure that you are using the right speed or setting for what you are trying to blend. If this does not work, then you probably have dull blender blends that need to be replaced. If you need more help as to fixing your blender you can go to its troubleshooting page here.

My blender would not blend smoothly either. It use to make an unusually loud noise when I put the cup and start the motor. I realized the motor had a "play" making me believe it was not tightened enough. I took a look at the pics on this page and then realized it was assembled wrongly. The white rubber used to absorb the movement was placed after the motor was inserted. Thanks to all who have contributed to this Oster page.

I had the similar issue. In my case the square shaft which makes blades rotating was worn out. Check my video how to fix it, it may help you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_3rC3Le...
Basically you need to buy replacement on the local hardware store, this replacement costs nothing. and it easy to replace.
