Hi, Elouen. It is possible to replace the rear case of the iPhone 5c. Just follow this guide to replace the case. You can order the rear case from the iFixit store.

Can anyone confirm whether or not you need to actually removed the whole front screen and parts on the inside to change the back... I've watched some videos that basically do that, but just want to make sure
will it afftect the use of the phone?
If you do decide to change it would it deleate or rest the phone memory ?

once you take apart the iphone to replace the back is there any new part besides the new back housing? any new adhesive you will need?

Yes the screen needs removed and the whole inside of the phone needs striped out and rebuilt in the new frame

this is a site to help you fix your own device. if you want to ask the mall guy then you need to go to the mall and ask him? try googling which phone repair people are near you or what services they provide...otherwise check out the guide on how to do it yourself (the accepted answer) and purchase the part to do the change

Couldn't you get in some legal troubles for buying a back housing containing the apple logo? Last I read (on some random forum), someone's $xxxx shipment of iPhone parts was withheld in customs for this very reason (Trademark infringement).
