Iphone 4 verizon...when replacing the screen a part came loose that I did not see where it came from
It is a black rubber piece about 3/4" long by 1/4" wide and it has a groove or channel in it that slides over or wraps around something
need to know where it goes

Part goes on top of logic board under the two front screen flex cables, groove just loosely attaches to board. It is a cushion to protect the cables. But many who repair iPhones consider it non essential part. The thin aspect of the part goes up towards you as you work on iPhone (actually towards back of iPhone).
