Mac mini Mid 2011 Hard Drive Replacement
This guide should help. You will need a 2.5" SATA hard drive to install(laptop hard drive). Hope your repair goes successfully.

Please don't add unhelpful answers to the Answers. This is not a hard drive replacement guide but the teardown of the Mini, which is basically a hardware overview and not a detailed instruction guide. This will confuse people.
