Why does my Acer Aspire 493 switch off after 10 seconds?
My laptop makes a bad noise at start up, so I think the problem is the processor cooling fan.

ftrmajid, since we can not hear your sounds, it stands to reason that it is. That would cause your machine to turn off due to overheating. Disassemble it and take a look at it. Let us know what you find.
