Tablet Won’t Turn On
The Tablet will not turn on, no matter what you try.
If your tablet won’t turn on, you may simply just have a drained battery. Plug your tablet into your your charger and a power source. Your tablet will recognize that it is connected to a power source and will then charge the battery. If the battery does not charge, the battery may be faulty and need to be replaced.
If your battery will not charge, your battery is most likely broken. If your battery is broken you will need to replace it will a new battery.
Broken Display Screen
It is possible that your screen looks like nothing is happening because the display may be broken. If the battery is working properly, but nothing is visible on the screen, the display may be broken and must be replaced.
No Audio or Distorted Audio
Your Tablet turns on and appears to work, but when you plug in headphones or listen to audio, it does not play properly.
First when dealing with speakers you should check to see if they are the source of the problem. Try your tablet with a new set of headphones to make sure it is not the headphones. If they do not work there is most likely a problem with your speakers and you may need to replace them.
Bad Audio Jack
First try a full restore on your tablet to make sure it is not a software issue. If that does not work, try replacing the audio-out jack. If that doesn’t solve the problem your logic board might need to be replaced.
Distorted Display Screen
Your Tablet still has a display , but images are blurry or distorted preventing visibility.
If your images are distorted due to a cracked or shattered screen, it is fairly simple to find the source of the problem. If you accidentally dropped your tablet and cracked or shattered the screen, the cracked glass can cause the images to appear distorted. If your screen is cracked and is causing distortion, you can replace the screen with a new one.
A dead pixel is a black spot in the screen that disrupts the image and does not display anything. If you have multiple dead pixels it can cause the display screen to appear distorted. To fix this issue you should replace the screen.
Battery Will Not Hold Charge
Your Tablet charges and turns on, but the battery drains very quickly.
Charger is Broken
If you charge your tablet, but it does not reach a full charge or takes a long time to charge, it may be causing your battery to drain quicker. If your tablet does not reach a full charge, your battery will drain faster. If this is your issue, you may need to buy a new charger.
Charging Port Damaged
It is possible that liquid came in contact with the port or one of the pins may be broken. If your charger does not recognize being plugged in or if your charger no longer fits, the port may be the problem. To repair the port you would have to disassemble your tablet and desolder the old port and replace it with a new one.
If you have checked both of the previous issues and it is neither one of those, you most likely have a broken battery. If your battery is faulty, you can easily replace it for a new one.
Frozen/Stuck on Android Logo Screen
Your Tablet turns on , but gets stuck on the opening Android screen and freezes.
You can try restoring your tablet by holding down the Power button and tap Volume Up. You'll see the Android system recovery menu appear at the top of your screen. Select wipe data/factory reset with the volume keys and tap the Power button to activate it. Select Yes and then erase all user data with the volume buttons and tap Power. Remember to backup all your data beforehand so you do not lose everything.
Bad Logic Board
If attempting to restore the tablet does not fix the problem, this issue is most likely with the logic board.
