Device Randomly Rebooting
The device will reboot randomly during use.
Battery May Be Depleted
Make sure the dash cam is plugged in properly. If that does not work, try using a different power source.
Faulty Charging Cable
If the device is plugged in properly and still rebooting, the charging cable for the device may be damaged and need replacing.
Faulty Battery
The battery of the dash cam may be damaged and needs to be replaced. Please follow the repair guide to replace the battery.
SD Card Will Not Insert
The MicroSD will not insert into the port located on the side of the device.
MicroSD Card Oriented Incorrectly
If you cannot insert the MicroSD card into the port of the device begin by ensuring the card is flipped in the correct orientation. The text on the top of the card should be facing the screen of the device and the copper pads located on the backside of the card should be facing away from the screen.
MicroSD Card Will Not Click into Place
If the MicroSD card does not click into the port, try using a coin to push the card into the slot. You should hear it click and lock into place. If the card still does not seat all the way into the port, try cleaning out the MicroSD port.
Incompatible MicroSD Card
All dashcams need to have reliable memory data storage. For this reason, Rexing recommends a higher-performance MicroSD card such as the Kingston Canvas Go! Plus. Rexing does not recommend Sandisk Ultra Memory cards.
Device Will Not Power On
The device will not power on when unplugged or plugged in.
Device Not Plugged In
Try plugging the device into the car charging port. This device is designed to be connected to a power source while in use. The battery can operate for a short time without being powered, however, this internal battery can only keep the device on for a short time.
Faulty Battery
If the device is plugged in and will not power on, the battery could be damaged or faulty. Please follow the repair guide to replace the battery.
Faulty Motherboard
The motherboard of the device could be damaged/faulty causing the device to not power on. Please follow the repair guide to replace the motherboard.
Device Will Not Connect to Phone Via Wi-Fi
The device does not connect or remain connected to your mobile device.
Don't Know My Device's SSID (username)/Password
With your device powered on, hold down the ‘OK’ button (located below the device screen). Your device should now display its connection status, SSID (Wi-Fi username), and Password.
Phone Disconnects From the Device After a Few Seconds
For ANDROID devices:
Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Menu (3 dots in top right corner) > Advanced > Turn OFF “switch to mobile data”
For IOS devices:
Settings > Cellular > Scroll down to “Wi-Fi Assist” > Turn OFF
Device Does Not Record Audio
The device will not record any audio while in use.
Audio Recording is Disabled
The audio recording setting may be disabled. To fix the issue, press the MIC button, go down to video mode, and select enable audio recording.
Faulty Microphone
The microphone may be damaged or faulty.
Faulty Motherboard
The motherboard of the device could be damaged/faulty causing the device to not record audio. Please follow the repair guide to replace the motherboard.
Device Not Displaying Video
The video from the front and/or rear camera will not display on the screen of the device.
Toggle Display On
If the device does not display the front or rear camera video on the screen, the video display may be toggled off. To resolve this issue, click the cycle display button (far right button on the device) until the desired camera view is displayed.
Faulty Front Camera
If the device does not display the front camera after cycling through the display options, the front camera may be damaged. To repair the front camera, please follow the repair guide.
Faulty Rear Camera
If the device does not display the rear camera after cycling through the display options, the rear camera may be damaged. To repair the rear camera, please follow the repair guide.
Device Not Displaying Anything
The device screen is black and is not displaying any of the settings or video for the device.
Device Not Plugged In

Damaged or Faulty Screen
