Device Will Not Turn On
If your device is not powering on or appears dead and unresponsive
Battery Charger Cable And Connector May Be Damaged
If your Palm Zire M150 is not powering on or appears dead and unresponsive, first check to make sure your battery charger and adapter are functioning properly and that there are no cracks, cuts, broken or frayed wires on the cable or power unit. If the green power light does not come on when plugged in, you may have a faulty charger, causing the battery to not charge and the device to be turned off.
A Soft Reset Is Needed
If you find your charger unit is functioning properly but your device is still not powering on, you may begin by trying a soft reset. All of your information and records will be retained after a soft reset. To perform soft reset, locate the small reset button on the back side of your handheld device. Use a pin, needle, paperclip, or similar object to insert into the reset button and hold. If successful and you have power, the screen will indicate that the reset has been completed.
Lithium-Ion Battery Is Damaged
Finally, if all above measures have been performed and nothing has changed, you will have to take apart your Palm Zire m150 and check the connection or possibly change the internal lithium-ion battery. To do this, please refer to our repair guide section.
Screen Frozen Or Unresponsive
If your device screen will not respond to any commands
Battery Connection Is Corroded
If your handheld device screen is black and unresponsive, first check to make sure your battery charger and adapter are functioning properly. If the green power light does not come on when plugged in, you may have a faulty charger, causing the screen and device to be turned off.
A Soft Reset Is Needed
If you find your device is no longer responding to buttons or the screen and there is no problem with the battery, you may begin by trying a soft reset. All of your information and records will be retained after a soft reset. To perform soft reset, locate the small reset button on the back side of your handheld device. Use a pin, needle, paperclip, or similar object to insert into the reset button and hold. If successful, the screen will indicate that the reset has been completed.
A Hard Reset Is Needed
If a soft reset does not remedy problems with screen responsiveness, it may be time to do a hard reset. Please note that a hard reset will erase all data and return device to factory settings. A hard reset should only be a last resort after all other measures have been taken. To perform hard reset, press and hold the power button while simultaneously inserting a pin to the previously explained reset button. You may release both once the Palm Powered logo appears on your screen. Your phone will be restored to default settings, retaining only the date and time. If this does not work, you may need to replace the screen. Please refer to our repair guide in order to do this.
Front Buttons Not Functioning
If your device will not respond to the buttons
Buttons Have Debris In Them
If you find it hard to press the front buttons on your device, you simply clean the space between the buttons using compressed air. If there is sand or dirt in the spaces you can also use a thin piece of paper to shovel it out.
A Soft Reset Is Needed
If you find that your screen is working, but the buttons are not functioning you may need to do a soft reset. To do a soft reset, locate the small reset button on the back side of the device. Use a pin-like object to insert into the hole, and keep it in there for 3 to 5 seconds. After you release the pin, your device should indicate the reset is complete. Make sure that the buttons are now functioning.

The following message appears on my computer when I attempt to perform a HotSync from my handheld Zire 21. I have Windows10 OS.
The log file C:\Program Files (x86)\Palm\BZ\HotSync.Log cannot be found. How do I fix this error?
