Phone won't charge
No matter how many times you unplug and plug back in your device to the charger, it will not gain a charge.
Broken Charger
Plug your phone into a charger with a wall adapter to charge. Allow the phone to charge for about 20 minutes. If the phone does not turn on, the charger may be dirty, or damaged. Examine the charger and charging port for dirt. Also, try using the charger on another compatible device, or use another charger for the Lumia 928.
Broken Charging Port
If you have tried multiple chargers and it still will not charge, try using a Wireless charger if you or your friend has one. The phone supports wireless charging with Qi technology, so any Qi charger should work. If the wireless charger works, then the charging port on the phone will need to be replaced. Send the phone to Nokia or your carrier. If it does not work, the battery may be dead and need to be replaced.
Phone won't turn on
You've tried holding the power button for an eternity, and it still won't power up.
Hard Reset Phone
Hold down the power button, camera button, and volume down for 15 seconds or until the phone vibrates. Wait until the phone turns on. Note: This will not erase any personal info or files.
Battery is dead
Plug your phone into a charger with a wall adapter to charge. Allow the phone to charge for about 20 minutes. If your phone still does not turn on, the battery is probably dead, and will need to be replaced.
Phone running slow / Battery is draining quickly
For when your device takes forever to do simple tasks, or the battery is draining faster than it used to.
Too many apps / services running in the background
If you have too many apps and services running at one time, it can bog down the phone and affect performance. To exit out of these apps, hold the back button until all your running apps appear. Then hit the x in the top left of each app you don't need running. Having location services, Bluetooth, and WiFi enabled when you are not using them can use more battery and slow down your phone. To disable them, go to settings --> System then click on Bluetooth (or WiFi or Location) and switch it to off.
Hard Reset
Hold down the power button, camera button, and volume down for 15 seconds or until the phone vibrates. Wait until the phone turns on. Note: This will not erase any personal info or files.
Factory Reset
DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT BACKING UP YOUR PHONE. You should have at least 50% battery life.
Factory Resetting your phone erases everything on your phone, essentially putting it back into the state you got it in from the store. This is the worst case scenario. With that being said, factory resetting your phone every once and a while is a great way to clean it out. This will improve battery life, and make the phone run quicker. To do this, click settings --> System --> about --> reset your phone --> yes.
Can't send or receive text messages
Waiting for that message to send, only to find out it keeps failing to go out.
Restart phone
Try turning the phone off, and then turning it back on to see if it fixes your issues.
Check Sim Card
First, turn the device off. Then look at the top of the phone, pull out the sim card tray and check it for dirt and dust. Also make sure that it is seated properly when inserting the Sim card back in.
Touchscreen not working properly
The touchscreen is not pressing the correct area, or not functioning at all.
Adjust sensitivity
If your touch screen is not registering your finger press very well, go into settings --> touch --> sensitivity and change from normal to high. See if this fixes your issue.
Broken screen
If the screen is not working whatsoever, or is not responding correctly, the screen is probably bad and will need to be replaced.
Bluetooth won't connect
When pairing with a Bluetooth device is much more difficult than it should be.
Restart phone
Try restarting the phone, and try connecting to your device again.

Go into the settings of your phone and click on Bluetooth, then hold down on each bluetooth device and hit delete. Then try reconnecting to it.
