Camera Wont Take Pictures Or Are Out Of Focus
While using your camera it does not focus on objects, and when you click to take a picture it is delayed.
Your phone may have smudges, or dust on your camera lens that can be affecting your overall picture quality and causing it to be unable to focus. To fix this you can clean off your lens with a microfiber cloth, or if there are smudges, or dirt that are a pain to get off you can use a cotton swab with distilled water to help get it off. If there are still smudges you can use this guide to replace the camera
Too Many Apps Are Open
The phones relatively low processing power can cause delays in the camera when multiple apps are running in the background. To fix this you can close the apps that are running in the background. If it is still running slowly, going to the settings and apps folder you can see which apps may still be running in the background. If those suggestions do not work you can use this guide to replace the camera.
Volume is low during calls on speakerphone
When calling someone on speaker mode you can barely hear them.
Volume setting is too low or phone is muted
Check to see if the volume is up first, your phone volume may be set to its lowest setting. Also, make sure the speaker phone option is highlighted during the call itself. If that doesn’t work you can reset your phone to allow it a chance to reboot itself.
Shock damaged or blown out speakers
The LG: Fortune has been infamously labeled as a poor quality phone with lower quality parts. Users have reported that the speakers inside the phone are put together broken or damaged during the making process. The speakers are also prone to damage from drops or playing the audio too loud for too long. This will call for a complete speaker replacement due to damage. Use this guide to replace the speaker
Weak touch screen sensitivity
When swipe gestures become finicky and difficult to use.
Screen is cracked or distorted
First check to see if you have a screen protector currently on your phone that can be removed to reveal a perfectly good screen. If there was not a screen protector on your phone to protect from smaller scratches, you may need to replace the screen with this guide.
Dead pixels on the screen
Screens with tiny black or bright colored dots/groups of dots are identified as dead pixels on the screen. This is usually due to damage or part of the screen dying not being able to display color correctly. This usually does not prevent the user from operating their device correctly, however; this is a quality of life for the user and could impede the proper use of some apps. This requires an entire screen replacement, use this guide to replace it.
Battery takes too long to fully charge or won’t hold a charge
When charging your phone, the charge barely moves for hours, and when in use the battery barely moves at all as well.
Excessive app activity draining the battery
Restarting your phone and checking in your apps section to see if there are any apps running in the background can help identify the draining of your battery. You can also check to see if there is any debris in your charger port. If there is you can use a can of compressed air and shoot quick bursts of air into the port to get the debris out. Check to see if switching to a different charger helps the phone charge fully. If those suggestions do not work you may need to use this guide to replace the battery.
Battery has reached end of life cycle
This can be due to the battery not being able to hold a charge anymore due to repeated use. Batteries need to be replaced, even rechargeable ones, every so often. The only solution for a battery that does not hold a charge anymore is to replace the entire battery. Use this guide to replace the battery
Phone working slower than normal
The phone overall functions slowly, this could be when switching between apps and has long load times.
Too many apps are open
If there are multiple apps running in the background closing them out puts less strain on the phones processor. This phone has a relatively low processor speed and cannot handle many apps being used at a time, if it is still functioning slowly you can check your apps section in settings and force stop any apps still running in the background.
Temperature is too high
This could be caused by strenuous background usage or being left in hot temperatures. To fix this you can power your phone off for about 30 minutes to an hour and then recheck to see if the phone is functioning at an optimal speed. Another reason that is associated with overheating is the thermal paste around the motherboard could have lessened over time and needs replacing. To fix this issue clean off all the old thermal paste, and apply a new coat. You can use this guide to help replace the motherboard.
