If you plug in the Keychron K3 V2 and the LED indicating that it is charging is not lighting up, follow these steps for possible solutions.
Dirty Charging Port
There may be excess dust or other debris stuck in the charging port, blocking the charger and charging port from coming into contact to charge the keyboard. Cleaning the charging port will help get rid of excess dust and other debris in the charging port. Make sure to not use any water as it may damage the charging port.
Weak Power Adapter
The power adapter may not allow enough wattage to pass through into the keyboard, not allowing it to charge properly. Using a different power adapter with higher wattage will allow the keyboard to charge.
Faulty Battery
The battery may be dead or broken, not allowing the keyboard to charge. Consider replacing the battery. To replace the battery, take off the keycaps, unscrew and take off the framing, then take out the battery and replace it with a new one. The guide to replacing the battery is under the Keychron K3 V2 device page.
Faulty Charging Port
The charging port itself may be broken, not allowing the keyboard to charge. Consider replacing the charging port. To replace the charging port, take off the keycaps, unscrew and take off the framing, then take out the backplate containing the charging port and replace it with a new one. The guide to replacing the charging port is under the Keychron K3 V2 device page.
Faulty Motherboard
If replacing the battery didn't work, consider replacing the motherboard. The motherboard may be faulty and not allowing the keyboard to charge. To replace the motherboard, take off the keycaps, unscrew and take off the framing, then take out the backplate containing the motherboard and replace it with a new one. The guide to replacing the motherboard is under the Keychron K3 V2 device page.
