No matter what you do, the camera will not turn on. The best way to solve the problem is to replace the battery or check if it is facing in the right direction.

Plug the charger to the camera. Make sure the right power adapter is plugged in. If it is, make sure the light on the adapter is on. If the light is not on, and the adapter is plugged in, the adapter is faulty. Then, consider purchasing a replacement adapter.

By opening the battery door, check if the battery is inserted inside correctly by having the three stripes that connects inside on the camera.

If the charger is plugged in, and the light on the charger is on, but then the battery is not powering up then the battery is faulty. Replacing the battery is the best solution.

Dead pixels, scratches, or the LCD screen is broken.

No matter what you do, the screen will not display anything or respond to any touch gestures. Replacing the LCD screen is the best option.

Lens cover does not slide down to turn the camera on.

If your camera does not turn on because the lens cover is not sliding up and down properly, it can be replaced by unscrewing the case of it. You need to take out some screws on the left side, right side and bottom part.
