Blackberry Storm 9530 will not turn on
No matter what you do, you can't get your Blackberry Storm to turn on.
Drained Battery
If your phone will not turn on, your battery may be very low on charge. Try plugging your phone into the charger, wait 5 to 10 minutes, and try turning on the phone. If that does not work, wait until the phone is fully charged, then try again. Make sure the power outlet you are using is working well.
Dead Battery

Battery connection/no battery
The battery may not be connected to the phone correctly. Open the back case, make sure there is a battery there, remove it, and put it back in. Logic/Motherboard

Phone is Off

Buttons staying in the up or down position
If the button seems to be stuck in either position, first try wiggling the button back and forth with your finger to try and get it out from being stuck. Blackberry Storm 9530 will not charge
You have plugged your charger into your phone however your phone is still unable to charge.
Wrong Charger
Sometimes you may be attempting to use the wrong battery charger. Camera Application

Camera Settings
It is possible that the camera settings have been changed. If so, you can change the settings by going to the home screen and pressing the menu button, camera, the menu button again, and choosing options. Here you can change the settings as desired or change them back to normal.
Scratched Lens
When the lens is scratched, the pictures may come out blurry or unclear. In this case, your phone might need to be taken into the store for a repair.
Distorted Images

Phone May Be Off

Battery May Be Dead

If you find this sticker then your phone does not have water damage. However, if you find a light pink sticker this means that your phone has been exposed to a harmful amount of moisture. Not Hearing Sound Through Your Headphone Jack
Trying to listen to your favorite song only to find silence? Continue reading to troubleshoot the root of the problem.
Volume
Your phone may be at the lowest volume. Try turning up the volume a few notches and check if you can now hear sound. If not, read on.
Mute
Another issue could be that your Blackberry is on mute. Take your phone off mute and test the sound once more. Continue reading if you still can not hear anything.
Broken Headphones
It could be the headphones you're trying to use. Try using different headphones to see if that's the cause of the problem. If you still hear nothing, continue reading.
Broken Headphone Jack
If after adjusting the volume, and testing out other headphones, you still cannot hear anything through the headphone jack, it could be broken. In which case, you may need to bring your phone in to a store for a repair.

Your Storm is unable to obtain data services or read or write data to the memory.
Missing SIM Card
To locate and check if the memory card is missing by following the Blackberry Storm 9530 SIM Card Replacement guide. If it is missing, make sure to carefully replace it.
Card Inserted Incorrectly
Locate the SIM card in your phone, carefully remove it and put it back in making sure that it is right side up, referring to the Blackberry Storm 9530 SIM Card Replacement guide as necessary. If this is still not working, try restarting your device.
Data Overload
Go to the settings menu on your device to check if the memory card has too much data on it. To fix this you may need to delete photos, videos, message history, etc. to create more memory space.
Memory Card is Broken
To check if the memory card is broken, try putting a working memory card in. Take it to your local phone provider store for details. If the chip is broken then the easy fix is to buy a new one; however, if the chip reader is broken then the phone needs to be taken to the store for further assistance.
Water Damage
Your phone has been overexposed to water in the recent future. This may be causing improper functionality of your device.
Your phones audio may be broken due to water damage. To check for water damage, look at the white strip on the inside of the phone either on the battery or in the battery compartment. If the strip is still white then there has been no water damage to your phone. A common fix that is widely practiced among phone users is to soak your phone in 99% Isopropyl alcohol for about two hours. When doing so be sure to keep the phone and alcohol in a closed container to prevent evaporation of the alcohol. Once you have done that, put your phone in a bag of uncooked rice for a few hours. The rice will absorb all the moisture and hopefully dry out your phone. This preferably should be done to your phone before attempting to power your phone on after being exposed to water. If your phone is not fixed then your phone should be taken to a local store for evaluation.
No Audio or Distorted Audio Output Through Speakers
The device is on; however the audio is not properly functioning resulting in any sound coming through the speaker.
Volume
The volume of your device may be too low to hear or muted. Using the two volume buttons located on the right hand of the device, press the buttons as necessary to obtain the desired volume.
Mute

Antenna
The antenna of your phone may not be working properly. This can result in poor phone reception with other parties. First try relocating to an area that has better reception. Microphone Operating Improperly
You may not be receiving proper audio because the party you are trying to connect with may be unable to hear you. If the party you are trying to reach is still unable to hear you, the microphone may be damaged or broken.
