Memory Full
The image on the screen is not how it looked when you bought the phone.
Too Many Apps
Delete unused or outdated Apps.
Too Many Pictures
Try backing up some your photos to a Cloud service or another storage device and delete pictures and videos from your phone to clear up some space.
SD Card Is Too Small
Sometimes you just need more memory. Try swapping your SD card for one with a larger storage capacity. Make sure you back up your old data first. See how to replace your Micro SD Card.
No Sound Through Speakers
When using your Alcatel Pop 4 Plus to play audio through external speakers, the audio is not clear or heard.
Phone Set To Silent
Make sure your volume is turned all the way up by pressing the volume buttons on the right side of the phone and make sure the application you're using is not set to mute.
Connected To Wrong Speaker
When sound is not heard, it could be that the Alcatel Pop 4 Plus's Bluetooth has been connected to a different speaker. Try turning off the phone's Bluetooth, then try to play the audio again.
Dirty Speakers
The external speakers for the Alcatel Pop 4 Plus may not be working correctly due to there being too much build up covering it. Try cleaning around the speaker.
Bad speakers
If you have tried turning up the volume, setting the Alcatel Pop 4 Plus on ring, and confirmed different headphones work, the speakers may be damaged and will need to be replaced.
No Audio When Using Headphones
Can’t hear any audio though headphones when plugged into the audio jack.

If you have tried turning up the volume, setting the Alcatel Pop 4 Plus on ring, and made sure the problem isn’t the headphones and can get sound through the speakers, then it may be a damaged audio jack causing the problem and a replacement will be needed.
Phone Is Not Charging
The phone is not charging despite being plugged in.
Software Glitch
Try resetting the phone to see if this solves the problem. To reset the phone, turn the phone off and then press and hold the Volume Up + Power button simultaneously for a couple of seconds. Release all buttons as soon as the Alcatel logo pops up on the screen.
Bad charger connection
Double check that both ends of the charger are plugged in properly. Also check the connections do not look dirty. If they are dirty then make sure everything is unplugged and clean the connects with a dry cloth or try using a can of dust remover.
Bad Cable
Sometimes the cable or its connections have gone bad. Try using a new cable.
Bad Charger
It is possible that the fault is with the charger. It is usually possible to try charging another device with the same charger to see if this is the problem. If it is not working, then try using a new charger.
Bad Battery
If the battery charges up quickly and then it runs out of power quickly then it is likely that the battery has gone bad and you should try replacing the battery. If the battery is not charging at all it also likely that the battery needs to be replaced.
Screen Freezes
The screen randomly freezes and then the phone is locked up.
Software Froze
Try to reset the phone, sometimes this can fix the problem. To reset the phone, turn the phone off and then press and hold the Volume Up + Power button simultaneously for a couple of seconds. Release all buttons as soon as the Alcatel logo pops up on the screen.
Bad motherboard
If the phone seems to be in good condition with no damage to the batteries or screen and it doesn’t turn on or the screen keeps freezing and then locks up, then most likely the motherboard needs to be checked and consequently replaced. See how to replace the motherboard here.
Images From Camera Are Distorted
Images taken from the camera have become distorted and unusable.
Dirty lens
Check to see if the lens is dirty. Try cleaning it with some lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth.
Scratched Lens
If the lens has too many scratches it can severely affect your image quality. If they can’t be wiped off, then the camera may need to be replaced. See how to replace the Camera.
Bad Camera
Sometimes the camera can just go bad either from dirt and dust or from receiving too much sun light. If the rest of the phone seems to be in good working order but the camera is just not working, then the camera may need to be replaced. See how to replace the Camera.
