My guess is that they want your entire item back so they can just send you a new one instead of repair it… or they might not know what to replace it with until they have the item there. I’ve seen many revisions of their smart batteries after having problems with three of them and there could be variants which might become tedious to send pics and info back and forth and then still not end up sending you a compatible part. It does seem to insult our intelligence though. But I can see a lot of issues happening if they don’t have consistent builds and they tend to discontinue things quickly. I’m having the same problem Trying to find the color display for my NX6. No replacements anywhere.
Saiba maisThe motor could still be faulty for a couple reasons. I'll explain: The short answer is that the all the moving parts of the main pump motor are under water and the magnetic armature shaft is held in place by two graphite bushings. Yeah, the bushings are made of pencil lead. You're getting graphite dust in your rinse water. These wear out and the magnetic impeller shaft starts wobbling. Wobbling makes the bushing wear out even faster. Eventually the shaft just sticks to the side and the motor shuts down. Another problem could be that the replacement motor is the wrong one but it still fits the dishwasher. They are larger than the original and put too much of an electrical load on the circuit board. Yep , your dishwasher is quiet partly due to having a weak energy star motor... when it works... I don't see how running for 3 hours is saving energy when it could prolly wash it all clean in 20min with a powerful motor. Just a bad design and they gouge you with poorly made replacements.
Saiba maisThe most likely culprit (I'm still trying to figure some of this out) is the circulation pump motor. Unfortunately, the "bearings" are made of graphite, the same stuff as pencil lead which wears out and starts to allow the motor shaft to start rattling around and sticking to the wall. This cheap pair of graphite bushings are hard to find in the correct size, which seems by design. There's a link at the bottom if ya wanna go down the rabbit hole. Otherwise, a replacement circulation pump motor is quite expensive. REPLACE: Make sure you have the right model number. It might help to look at the actual component and specs so you know the exact details and dimensions. I accidentally bought a slightly different model number pump that still fit and plugged in. The computer could not keep it running for more than a few seconds because it put a strain on the circuit board. Too bad, cuz that pump would have cleaned the dishes in 20min! How could I tell? I could hear the water jets spraying everything. Yes, I said...
Saiba maisShort answers: Bang/tap the drain motor when it is supposed to drain. If it frees up, the bearings are shot. Replace the motor. There is also a diagnostic mode om Whirlpool-built dishwashers I think you just hit three different cycle buttons in the same sequence 3 times quickly and (start button next?) all the lights come on. The clean light flashes codes before doing a bunch of short tests. Lookup the codes. There should be schematics sheet folded up under/behind the kickplate or door. I DON'T KNOW THE SPECS OF YOUR MODEL, BUT HERE'S WHAT I KNOW Make sure to fact-check my advice, I'm just speaking from the perspective of trying to get my Whirlpool/KitchenAid dishwasher to rinse all the detergent away. The one thing I have not replaced is the drain motor. It does seem louder than it used to be, so maybe I should soon, but I learned a lot from thinking the issue was the drain motor. It was an arduous and frustrating battle so you might want to read this just to avoid all the misleading advice. The drain...
Saiba maisIf you replaced the screen, maybe it is defective or a cable is not seated correctly. You may also need to clear your fingerprint scans and re-enter them. I haven't tried replacing the screen on my 5S, so I am just guessing. I would try the settings before opening the phone up again. See if the fingerprint home button even works as a fingerprint reader. The home button only unlocks the screen if your fingerprint reads first.
Saiba maisget some graphite lock lube. Also, you might have some wiggle room if it's not the valet key. The valet key has thicker edges which block it from entering the trunk and glove box. There are many other solutions, depending on how much time you have, but start there if you just want the key out. If it's a copied key, the blades might be a bit rough so just keep wiggling the key with the steering wheel pulled and foot on the brake. Gently try to turn the key to the out position while pulling on the key a little bit. just don't force it, as it could twist the blades and make them lose alignment with the tumbler pins. if it's twisted, try un-twisting it.
