Hi Mac, my suggestion would be to get a flat head screwdriver that fits and use that to try and unscrew the screw with a bit of force. I will say this because I still get confused about what way to turn the screws from time to time, but righty tighty and lefty loosey! If the screw looks striped or you think it may be striped, try using the rubber band trick, where you use the rubber band to get more grip on the screw. Hi Matthew, so I am no expert, but judging from the pictures you sent it does not seem like the receiver was damaged and could still be funtional. My suggestion would be to gently wigle the reciver left and right while pulling it out of the laptop. Then look and see what the correct orintion is for the black casing of the reciver would be. After that apply a small amount of super glue to the inside of the casing (not so small that it does not stick, but also not so much that super glue will ooze out of the casing). Lastly, put the casing back on the reciver in its correct orintion. I hope your mouse works and best of luck to you! I say use superglue since for me it is easier to control how much glue I want to use, and I find that it works well in terms of strength for plastic.

Hi Peter, I am no expert but my suggestion would be to charge the phone and try a hard rest on the phone by holding the power button and home screen button. It may be that the phone needs a bit more charge to get up and going again. The only thing I would be concerned about is if there was a short or something broken inside, that could cause a power surge in the wrong place and the device could stop working altogether. I will try to help you. Form what I know some iPhones have it so that it only works with the home button it came with. If you have the original home button then you can swap it out and hopefully it will work. You can also bring it to your local mall, they may have a place where you can get it fixed. I will try to help. There is a chance it’s the charger, so maybe try changing the charger. Another thing that could have happened is that the charging port got un soldiered, inside. At your own risk try to open it up carefully and see if everything is connected. Um you may have to switch out the battery. If the phone is old or sometimes something goes wrong the battery could die. You can try to open the phone and take the battery out and put it back in. Do it at your own risk. But before that you can try to call the company and ask for there advice. Most likely they may be able to properly fix it for you or tell you how to fix it. I don’t no for sure but you can’t try to connect it to a laptop and put it on iTunes recovery. Then on the laptop go to iTunes and try to update or reset the surface pro. If that dose not work then you may have blew some component in the hard drive but I am not positive. Best of luck to you and to your surface pro

To my knowledge There are many things that can go wrong with a battery. If the phone is old and been used for a long time the electrodes in the battery don’t hold a charger. The lithium in the battery dies over time and lose its charge compasity over time. The battery could have also inflated which can happen if something short circuited in the devise or it has come in contact with water. So you may have to replace the battery or get it checked out with the company you brought the product form. Best of luck and hopefully it works

Um I am not sure but you may have damage a component in the I pad or you disconnected the snap in the phone for the charging port. Although it may be a small fall with few cracks on the screen. It is possible you may have damaged it badly internally. You can try to chanothe crab by your self, and check if you have disconnected the batter snap. You can also try calling Apple and tell them what happened and they most likely can help you find the problem if you set up a meeting with them. Sorry if this is not useful.
