Resposta para "How do I remove or disable Sandisk SSD cache"Hi Philippe Go to "Control Panel", "Device Manager", open "Disk Drives" and right click on "SanDisk SSD i100 32GB" Then click on "Properties" in the drop-down box that opens - go to the "Driver" tab and click on the "Disable" bar. This will resolve the conflict between the internal cache (SanDisk SSD) and the SSD drive you installed, and your system should be faster - at least as fast as it was . Good luck! Pierre
Resposta para "How do I remove or disable Sandisk SSD cache"Hi George - thanks for your quick response. I downloaded the SanDisk SSD Dashboard and it showed that the SSD Cache was not operational. All attempts to re-initialize it failed, so it seems like a hardware failure. I eventually disabled the SSD cache in the Device Manager. The laptop now operates with the normal disk only - so it takes a long time to boot and is very slow. I will now replace the disk with an SSD - since the cache is now disabled, there should be no problem.
