Can I replace a charging port for the Moto G?Hey everyone, My phone doesn't want to charge no matter what I do to it, and I have tried a dozen different charging...
Resposta para "damaged sim card slot"Hi abhijith jayakumar, Yes! If you can purchase a new SIM card reader, the piece is replaceable! A guide has been written to explain this process and will likely be published within two weeks. When it becomes available, you should be able to access it with this link: Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation SIM/SD Card PCB Replacement Good luck! James
Resposta para "How to I replace the Screen and backing?"Hey james, Holger is correct in saying that the whole LCD display must be replaced since the glass cannot be easily removed from the backing. Also, I believe that the new LCD and glass will already be attached together when you purchase the replacement. A guide for replacing the LCD screen has already been written but will not be visible until iFixit publishes it. It should be viewable sometime in the next two weeks. When it is available, you should be able to find it with this link: Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation Display Replacement Good luck! James
Resposta para "Why do I have such poor battery life?"Hey Ahnaf, If you want to double check that background apps are not draining your battery too quickly, you can go under settings and look under the "battery" tab. You will then be able to see what apps use the most charge. Also, make sure to put your phone in sleep mode when you are not using it so that the screen is not using too much charge. In settings, under the "display" tab, you can set the phone to automatically go into sleep mode if it has not been used for a certain length of time. Both of these solutions are in the troubleshooting guide. If neither of these help, you may have to consider replacing the battery. Hopefully, someone will post a guide on how to replace a Moto G 3rd Generation battery sometime soon.
