Hello Funmi :) The LCD is what displays images, the digitizer is the touch screen. Sometimes they are sold separately for instances where just the glass is cracked or the touch stopped functioning. In your case, it sounds like the LCD is what needs to be replaced. Glass only repairs (digitizer only) are extremely difficult. You'll want to go with the LCD/Digitizer assembly combo. Hope this helps and happy repairs to you :D P.S. In case you need help, a tutorial for this repair can be found here
Hello :) Unless there was something specific that you were trying to do, you might want to try searching for some tutorials on how to use Android OS for smartphones and tablets etc. They will be similar. I found this video here that seems to go over a lot of the basics. Hope this helps!
Hi Rufus :) If that pic is the logic board in current state, the cap that you have replaced looks like it is burned as well. As for U3, I was unable to find you a schematic referencing the pins. However, I did come across this: http://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?... Which describes U3 as follows - U3 is for the 3.3v source that powers pretty much everything on the MCU board. It's TP9 on the MCU board. You might see if any of the pins on U3 are loose or damaged, but otherwise I would say your problem to start lies in that cap.
In this situation it is always hard to judge exactly where the problem lies. To me, this sounds like a battery failure. You can buy the battery here: iPhone 5 Replacement Battery And the guide to fix it can be found here: Substituição da Bateria do iPhone 5 Hope this helps! And good luck, happy repairs to you :)
I recently had this happen on my parents fridge! It was a setting in that weird little touch screen that they have. I accidentally bumped up against it and it stopped cooling. After tons of searching for the manual I found one here: http://www.kitchenaid.com/digitalassets/... . Look on page 5 of this manual for the operation of the touch screen. In the touch screen controls there is a way to turn on and off the cooling. I don't know if this is the same problem you are having but I hope this helps!!
If your wifi is still working, and assuming the controller's transmissions are working fine, it sounds like it might be the RF module. Xbox One RF Module Board or.. Xbox One Wi-Fi Board and.. Xbox One Wi-Fi Cable
Start with the power source. Swap out charging adapters and cords with known working ones, if neither of those work then swap out the battery. Hope this helps :)
It sounds like the LCD is broken. If you can get into it, you might check all connections to see if any cables became loosened in that fall. But I'm sorry to say, it sounds like your LCD was damaged in that fall. It's kind of a good sign that the volume still works tho as that means that you still have power to the TV.
The small black square that fell off is originally located on the bottom pentalobe screw bracket on the screen. It can slide back over it if you place it right.
