Background & Identification
Released in June 2017, Sony's flagship WH-1000XM2 headphones feature Bluetooth 4.1 and active noise cancelling, and are a direct successor to 2016’s MDR-1000Xs. Featuring a similar exterior design, the XM2s gain a new finish and feature less buttons in favor of simplicity.
Available in either black or gold, the WH-1000XM2s are priced at $350.
The Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones were succeeded by 2018’s WH-1000XM3.
