The manufacturer indicated that the issue was due to the need for a filter replacement. After purchasing and installing a new filter, the problem persisted. Upon disassembling the unit, I discovered that a sensor required cleaning. After cleaning the sensor with a hair dryer and reassembling the unit, the issue was resolved.

When reinstalling, be extremely careful with the clips as they are made of plastic and can become brittle and break easily due to aging.
