Fixing Galaxy SIII to create a travel phone.

Meu Problema

The device wouldn't charge or send data. The connection would be interrupted every few seconds. I opened it and the charging port was damaged. I didn't want to spend more money on tools to micro solder so I chose the easy way out to replace the whole PCB.

Minha Solução

Smoothly. I used my ifixit pro tool set. Mad all the spudgers and tiny bits I needed to take it apart carefully and slot the new part in.

Meu Conselho

Always organise screws. Be it magnetic pad or the top cover of the screwdriver box. More so if you can in the pattern of where you took each screw out from.
