15 minutos - 1 hora
My Photo iPod would work fine while in the docking station but wouldn't hold a charge longer than a minute. I also noticed that I couldn't select the center button (something that I learned from iFixit as a by product of a bad battery)
The case was a little difficult to get into, I'm glad I bought an extra set of plastic opening tools, because I broke one. But once I got a good opening, the thing came apart relatively easily. The instructions were excellent and easy to follow. The old battery had puffed up like a little pillow, thus not allowing the center of the wheel to preform properly. The whole process took about 20 minutes, with 15 of them trying to get into the case.
Getting in the case does take patience and perseverance. But it's pretty simple after that. I did have to take off the headphone jack unit, in order to properly seat the cable upon reassembly, but that could have been because I have rather large hands and I dare not use a pair of hemostats. Perhaps a plastic set of needle nose tweezers could be included in the "Parts needed to complete project" list.
