Meu Problema
The front glass was shattered from a careless young person. The screen was difficult to see in the cracked portion, and the touch response was affected by the shattered glass.
Minha Solução
This repair went off without a hitch, in other words, it was fairly simple. I really liked how the part I Got from iFixit was just the right part, the whole assembly, and not just the screen with no frame. The entire back came off the old Kindle, and the new screen attached with 2 ribbon cables, and it snapped back together. It was a very straightforward and simple effort, no screws or remembering where parts go.
Meu Conselho
The hardest part is getting the Kindle split in two down the seam. Take your time and don't get frustrated.
