WARNING: As a rule of thumb, whenever handling any firearm, treat the weapon as if it is loaded and be mindful of the muzzle of the firearm at all times! "I didn't know it was loaded" isn't an excuse and can't undo mistakes!
Before proceeding with this repair, be sure to clear the firearm of ammunition. Check, double check, and triple check to make sure there isn't a bullet in the chamber!
The Taurus G2C has a handy Loaded Chamber Indicator to show if there's a bullet in the chamber. Even if it's not showing loaded doesn't mean you should not check!
