This guide will go over how to replace the motor in your iRobot Roomba 805.

  1. iRobot Roomba 805 Motor Replacement, Side brush: passo 1, imagem 1 %32

    • Remove the single 6.1mm Phillips #0 screw from the side brush.

    • Lift the side brush, removing it from the motor.

    • Remove the battery panel and the two screws behind the wheels.

    • Lift up the back panel and remove it from the Roomba.

    • Remove the three screws holding down the motor. Be aware one requires a tristar bit and the plastic piece under that screw comes free easily.

    • Once the motor is loose you can pull it up out of the Roomba.

    • Hold the motor by the bottom and the edge of the cap and remove the cap.
