  1. Trek 4300 Bicycle Front Reflector Replacement, Loosen the Reflector: passo 1, imagem 1 %32
    • Stand facing the front of the bike, bracing the front wheel between knees.

    • Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, loosen the screw holding the reflector in place.

  2. Trek 4300 Bicycle Front Reflector Replacement, Remove Bracket: passo 2, imagem 1 %32 Trek 4300 Bicycle Front Reflector Replacement, Remove Bracket: passo 2, imagem 2 %32
    • Remove the screw. Bracket should now be able to rotate freely around the handlebar.

    • Separate the flat pieces of the bracket creating about a 1" gap.

    • Push the bracket away from you so it slides off the handlebar. Bracket should pop off the handlebar and return to original shape.

  3. Trek 4300 Bicycle Front Reflector Replacement, Replace Bracket: passo 3, imagem 1 %32
    • To replace the new reflector hold the bracket on the side of the handlebar opposite you with the flat pieces facing toward the front of the bike.

    • Spread the flat pieces apart and position the bracket so that the top flat piece will go over the top of the handlebar and the bottom piece will go underneath the handlebar.

    • Using light to moderate force, pull the bracket towards you so that it maneuvers around the bar. The bracket should now be reattached to the handlebar but spinning freely.

  4. Trek 4300 Bicycle Front Reflector Replacement, Tighten Bracket: passo 4, imagem 1 %32
    • Holding the reflector so that it faces forwards, insert the screw so that it goes through the hole of both flat pieces of the bracket.

    • Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, tighten the bracket until it is snug around the handlebar.

    • Pull up and down lightly on the reflector to make sure it is securely in place.

Conclusão

It is important to remember that when replacing reflectors, any reflectors facing forward should be white/clear and any reflector facing backward should be red so cars and and other bikers know which direction you are heading.
