Insert thumb under tab of battery cover.

Pull to remove the battery cover.

Once the cover is opened, press index finger on the tab to release the battery from the battery slot.

Once the battery has popped out, pull the battery out of the camera.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I charged one battery successfully and proceeded to remove the battery and insert another battery to charge. The camera died and would not charge the second battery, so I re-inserted the charged battery and now the camera will not power up. Any ideas?
