Nerf N-Strike Maverick Catch Spring Replacement

Introdução

The catch spring is a small, but vital part of the catching mechanism. It gives some of the tension necessary for the catch to latch on to the plunger. Without it, the catch will not spring back into place after firing the gun.

    • Remove the larger spring from the catch mechanism.

    • Remove the catch mechanism and spring by gently lifting it straight up and off the metal pin that holds it.

    • The catch spring has a tendency to bounce away when removed.

    • After removing the old catch spring, place the new catch spring back on the tip of the catch mechanism.

    • If you are unable to find an exact replacement, one may be fashioned out of a pen spring.

    • Carefully replace the catch mechanism so that it is seated in the grooves and over the metal pin.
