Use this guide to replace the kickstand for your Surface RT.

Turn the tablet over so the screen is facing down.

Pull up on the bottom corners to open the stand.

Remove the stand by unscrewing the two 5.08mm T5 Torx screws located on the left and right sides.

Gently wiggle the stand until the lever in the middle is free, releasing the stand.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
