If the mid frame is still attached to the back cover after you used the iSlack, you can help yourself with an Opening Pick and loosen the clamps on both sides of the phone with it. Don't open the phone all the way, yet. The fingerprint sensor cable is still connected to the back cover. Swing open the phone to the right side.

Remove the liquid indicator sticker. Remove the Phillips #000 screw that holds down the metal shield. The metal shield is tightly held in place. If you try to remove it without holding it down on one side, it'll break easily.

Remove the Phillips #000 screw that holds down the metal plate. Use tweezers to disconnect the antenna cable that runs over the metal shield. It makes the removal of the metal plate way easier. Remove the metal plate.

The battery is glued in place with two adhesive strips. One with a pull tab and one without. Get a good grip on the pull tab and peel out the adhesive strip by steadily pulling at the tab in a flat angle.

Do not bend or puncture the battery. Use an iOpener to loosen the remaining adhesive and carefully insert the flat end of a spudger to peel it off. After you removed all the adhesive beneath the upper area of the phone, there is a second adhesive strip beneath the bottom area that you need to peel off.

Remove the three Phillips #000 screws. Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the loudspeaker connector cable. Work the tip of a spudger under the charging unit to lever it out of its housing and remove it.
