Hard drives store most of the information on a computer. The hard drive of a computer must be replaced if the computer crashes. Hard drive replacement is an important skill for desktop PC users.

  1. Desktop PC Hard Drive Replacement, Left Panel: passo 1, imagem 1 %32

    • Unplug the computer from the power supply before any maintenance or disassembly.

    • Remove the two Phillips #2 head 5mm screws from the back side of the computer case. You only need to remove the screws that hold down the panel.

    • These screws can usually be removed by hand.

    • Be sure to wear an anti-static bracelet or use an anti-static mat to ensure important components are not damaged by static electricity.

    • Next, remove the side panel of the computer case to allow access into the computer. Slide the panel towards the back of the computer and lift it up to remove.

    • If there is a fan mounted on the side panel, make sure to unplug the cable before fully removing the panel.

    • Slide the hard drive out from the metal casing.

    • Remove the cables from the back of the hard drive.

Footnote: the processing of removing a drive from your system may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer of your system, or if you built it yourself; the manufacturer of the case.

Pour remonter l'installation,

-remonter le disque dur faite le glisser dans la cage métallique

- fixer le disque dur avec les vis retirées

-fixer les câbles à l'arrière du disque( câble d'alimentation et nappe de données)

-mettre les panneaux dans l'ordre du retrait

- procéder à l'installation du système d'exploitation...
