DeWalt DC970 Battery Fuse Replacement

If you realize your battery charger for your drill is not charging, there may be a blown fuse which can be replaced by following this guide.

  1. DeWalt DC970 Battery Fuse Replacement, Battery Fuse: passo 1, imagem 1 %32 DeWalt DC970 Battery Fuse Replacement, Battery Fuse: passo 1, imagem 2 %32

    • Remove the four 13 mm, Torx Security #15 screws found on the bottom of the charger.

    • Remove the 19 mm, Torx Security #10 screw found in the charger port.

    • Then pull the top of the charger off separating it from the bottom.

  4. DeWalt DC970 Battery Fuse Replacement: passo 3, imagem 1 %32

    • Locate the fuse and pull it out with two fingers.

    • Once you have located the fuse, if you have the replacement fuse just pull the old one out and put the new one in.

    • Replacement fuses can be found in hardware stores.
