Introdução

This guide demonstrates how to remove the outer shell of the DJI Phantom 2 Vision.

Before beginning disassembly, clean any residue around the screws to prevent over- or under-tightening.

You may need to remove the outer shell of the DJI Phantom 2 Vision if your drone has sustained damage to the structure or if you need to access the internal components for repair.

Before you begin, ensure your device is powered off and disconnected from the charger.

Note: The drone used in this guide already had its propellers removed. However, you must remove the propellers before taking off the top shell. Refer to the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ Propellers Removal for detailed instructions, as the process is identical.

1. Passo 1 Battery
  The battery is located on the backside of the drone. You will see a large rectangular indent protruding outward.
  
  The "battery" shown in the image is for illustrative purposes only. Since the original battery was missing, we constructed this one to demonstrate the repair process. The actual battery will not stick out this much.

2. Passo 2
  Remove the battery from the compartment by pinching the top and bottom pressure points near the center and pulling the battery towards you.

4. Passo 3
  Clean the battery compartment using cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol or pressurized air to remove any debris or dust inside.
  
  Repeat these steps after every battery replacement to prevent damage to the drone’s internal components.

1. Passo 4 Outer Shell
  Remove the propellers before taking off the top shell. Refer to the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ Propellers Removal for detailed instructions, as the process is identical.
  
  Flip the device so the motors are facing down.
  
  Remove four 6 mm screws next to the landing gear on each arm using a 2 mm Hex key.

2. Passo 5
  Remove eight 9 mm screws using a 2 mm Hex key.
  
  Remove four 9 mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

  Slowly lift the shell off the device.
  
  Disconnect the GPS wire from the motherboard.
