Bissell Zing 2156A Rear Filter Replacement

Introdução

The Bissell Zing 2156A's rear filter is part of the vacuum's set of filters, there to make sure the suction keeps coming.
For a vacuum cleaner to operate, air must flow from around the dirt, through the device, and back out of the vacuum into the air again. This filter is placed after the dust tank, which catches most of the debris, and just before the air leaves the vacuum. If dirt is spraying out of your vacuum, this part isn't doing its job!

Thankfully, removing this part is about as easy as it gets. If replacing this part doesn't help, refer to the troubleshooting guide for more options.

While holding the top of the vacuum with one hand, use the other hand to push the clamp down that holds the rear filter in place.

Hold the grille with one hand.
With the other hand, grab ahold of the foam and separate it from the grille.

Remove any large piece of debris by hand from the grille.
The grille can be gently rinsed over a faucet. Be sure to dry the grill before reassembly.
Remove any large piece of debris by hand gently from the foam.
The foam should never touch water or any kind of liquid.
If any part of the rear filter becomes damaged or too filthy to clean, replace it.
