If your 8BitDol Pro 2 controller is not turning on, losing charge quickly, or not holding a charge at all, the battery pack may need to be replaced. Over time, rechargeable batteries can wear down and lose their ability to function the correct way.

This guide will walk you through removing and replacing the battery pack. This is a simple and quick repair that requires no tools.

Before you begin, make sure that the controller is powered off.

1. Passo 1 Battery
  Flip the 8BitDo Pro 2 controller so that the back side is facing up.

  Slide the battery cover off to remove it and expose the battery.

  Use your hands to remove the battery pack from the controller.
