On June 5, 2017, Apple released the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad (A1843) to replace the wired Apple Keyboard which was discontinued that day. It was longer, and had an extended key layout with a numeric keypad and a different arrow key arrangement.

Why are my keys not working when I press them!

When I try to use my Apple magic keyboard none of the keys work when I press them. Even after I charge it it still doesn't work. Please help!!!

With the keyboard plugged in to your system and restarting does the keyboard respond? Do you have a second USB wired keyboard?

No, I don't have a second wired keyboard. But I ordered a new one and it should be coming today. Thx for the help.
