How can I tell if my logic board is defective
In the last few days my MacBook Pro (15") runs for about 10 or 15 mins then the entire screen gets jittery and freezes up solid with odd colors and patterns requiring me to force restart.
I suspect a defective logic board ($599) and think I would like to attempt the repair. But I would like to be sure it is the logic board before I try.
Another symptom is that I can start up in Safe Mode and generally runs without a problem but of course it is limited in what I can do. That sort of suggests to me maybe it is something else other than the mother board.
Anyway, there must be a diagnostic method that will isolate the problem and I hope someone can lead me down the correct path.
Except for this problem it is a beautiful day.
