Trackpad not working after battery replacement

I replaced my Macbook Pro 13 2020 battery with a new one. After replacing it, the trackpad wont work anymore. It wont click or anything. I was careful to not break any SMD components while working on the battery. I possibly could used a little too much alcohol when trying to break down the middle cells adhesive, but idk if that do anything. Did I break the trackpad cable? Should I order a new one?

EDIT HERE ARE PICTURES this is a picture of my trackpad circuit

1st would be to review the guide for MacBook Pro 13" Four Thunderbolt Ports 2020 Trackpad Replacement to make sure everything is connected properly, then unless you have much better eyes than me you'll likely need a magnifying glass to see if the track pads cable pins have been damaged, if so then you'll need to buy a new cable for that. If they appear to be straight, intact and not damaged, then it could be the cable or track pad has been damaged by the Alcohol as you need to use 90% Alcohol and not that 70% stuff that they say is good to put on your hands.... If there is still no luck then @danj will come to the rescue :)

Reagent grade IPA is best.

The issue is the other materials in solution that we don’t want as they can leave a film or cause damage to some plastics. Here the other solvents could wash the adhesive into the connector preventing them to work properly.

In that case do I need to replace the whole trackpad?

@junaaydshaikh Well new stuff usually always works but the idea here is to repair and rescue what we already have. Try what I suggested above 1st, if no luck then get a new track pad and cable just to be sure.

btw I used 91% isopropyl, I don't think it would cause any damage to anything other than the flex cable

por

@junaaydshaikh Try just the cable 1st then.....
