iPhone SE 2020 motherboard in iPhone 8 case

i have a Icloudlocked Iphone 8, with a noncracked backglass, i bought a SE 2020 with smashed rear glass and bad battery to transfer the motherboard and battery to the Iphone 8, but I've noticed that some videos say that it will break the selfie camera, should i just get a new back glass for the SE 2020 or attempt the transfer of the SE2020 parts?

Physically, you should be in the clear to make the swap. The two issuses are that the iPhone SE 2020 display has different features/firmware then the iPhone 8, and the battery is different. As long as your only using the housing of the iPhone 8, and just transfering all the components of the iPhone SE to the new housing, you should be fine. In additon I would also purchase a new SE battery rather then try to use the iPhone 8 battery.
